How CodeWithHarry handles cancellations, refunds, and contribution reversals across courses, cohorts, and downloadable resources.

Policy Overview
We want every learner to feel confident investing in CodeWithHarry. Most paid products (self-paced courses, memberships, downloadable bundles, and voluntary contributions) come with a 14-day money-back guarantee on the initial purchase unless otherwise stated on the checkout page. Live cohorts or events may have different timelines and will always be disclosed up front.
Eligibility Criteria
Refund requests must satisfy all of the following:
- Timeframe: Submitted within 14 days of the original transaction.
- Product type: Applies to first-time purchases of courses, memberships, or downloads. Renewals are non-refundable.
- Usage: Less than 40% of video hours consumed and no certificate issued.
- Good faith: Requests must be honest and not part of a repeated refund pattern.
- Compliance: Account must be in good standing without unresolved policy violations.
Non-refundable Situations
We cannot issue refunds for:
- Requests received after the 14-day window or after course completion/certification.
- Renewals, subscription upgrades/downgrades, or add-on purchases following the original term.
- Accounts terminated for violating the Terms of Service or engaging in abusive behavior.
- Group buys, transfers, or purchases made via resellers not authorized by CodeWithHarry.
- Cases where extensive content was consumed/downloaded prior to the request.
How to Request a Refund
- Email legal@codewithharry.com with the subject line “Refund Request”.
- Include your account email, order ID/transaction reference, purchase date, and a short note describing the issue.
- Our team will acknowledge within 1–2 business days and may ask for additional context.
- If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Banks or card networks may need extra time to reflect the credit.
Refunds for UPI or net banking payments may require manual verification steps. We cannot reroute refunds to a different card or wallet.
Access After a Refund
Once a refund is processed:
- Premium access, certificates, downloads, and cohort seats linked to the order are revoked.
- Your account may revert to a free tier; any badges or progress tied to paid tracks will be archived.
- Previously downloaded notes can remain for personal reference but cannot be redistributed.
Partial & Discretionary Refunds
We may offer partial refunds or credits in exceptional cases such as platform outages, duplicate orders, or technical issues preventing access. These are granted at our sole discretion after troubleshooting with the learner.
Special Circumstances
Contact us if you experience:
- Duplicate charges or accidental purchases.
- Serious medical or personal emergencies impacting your ability to participate.
- Incorrect plan selection (e.g., bought Hindi batch instead of English) within the first week.
We require supporting documentation and may offer course transfers or deferrals instead of refunds.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation
- Stops future billing on subscriptions.
- You keep access until the current billing cycle ends.
- No money is returned for the current period.
Refund
- Reverses the payment for eligible purchases.
- Access ends immediately once processed.
- Requires contacting support and meeting eligibility criteria.
Refund Abuse Prevention
To protect creators and honest learners we monitor for:
- Repeated refund requests across multiple accounts or payment methods.
- Bulk downloading or screen-recording content immediately before asking for a refund.
- Chargebacks filed without first contacting CodeWithHarry support.
- Use of stolen payment instruments or fraudulent identities.
Abuse may result in account suspension, blocking of payment methods, denial of future purchases, and reporting to payment partners or authorities.
Payment Processing & Disputes
CodeWithHarry partners with PCI-compliant processors such as Razorpay, Stripe, and Paddle. All refunds are executed through the original processor in compliance with their policies. If you raise a dispute directly with the bank, please also notify us so we can coordinate and avoid duplicate investigations.
